- Understand the different stages – Primary impression, secondary impression, bite registration, try in, delivery, adjustment stages of dentures
- An overview of how they are made and how long it takes
- Learn of the different types of dentures and parts of a denture and types of teeth and shade taking
- Learn how to chart and use the appropriate item numbers for each appointment
- Learn how to set up for each of the stages and how to assist for all the stages
- Learn how to select trays, mix impression material, load trays and even how to take an impression
- Learn how to make a special tray and border moulding
- Learn what to set up for the bite registration and what notes to take
- Learn what to set up and look out for in try-in, delivery and adjustment stages and how to communicate with the patient
