PM_M8 Onboarding and Managing Associates, OHT, and Support Staff

Challenges expressed by practice owners: Staff performance overall is below standard
My associate dentist is not as productive as they should be
The Dentist does not present treatment plans in a way that patients accept treatment
Many patients leave without making appointments. It’s like a revolving door. My OHT fails to convert treatment plans and there is a lot of unmet treatment needs
My associates often miss things and it is awkward to point this out when I find these
There have been a few complaints in the delivery of care by my Associates. I don’t know how to handle this
The quality of their work is not up to the mark. I am worried I am loosing patients
I am not sure how to align the Dentists and OHTs to my business goals and philosophy of care

I hesitate to do Performance Appraisals
I find it stressful to have those difficult conversations with staff
Some staff get defensive if you say anything negative about their performance.
